Updating rockstar games
Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.
It was released in September 2013 for Play Station 3 and Xbox 360, in November 2014 for Play Station 4 and Xbox One, and in April 2015 for Microsoft Windows.
Therefore, in this step, we are going to be verifying the game files and make certain that the game files are complete.
If you bought a non-steam/standalone version of Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), either from the official store Rockstar Games or the disk version of the game.
You probably having a problem updating your game, suddenly an update of 898.80 MB in size keep re-downloading the same update all over again, that stuck you forever. Since the standalone version GTA V has no verify integrity which will fixed this common problem similar in Steam.
An update would simply represent Rockstar catching up with itself, not some kind of revolutionary act. Run an internet search for "LSPDFR xbox," and you'll find a litany of commenters wondering why they can't share in the experiences of GTA 5 players on PC.
One excuse for Rockstar might be that it fears a police mode would cause servers to break down due to excessive memory requirement stresses.
Sadly, it seems unlikely to happen: Had Rockstar wanted to do this, they would have likely done so by now.
As such, we'll have to wait for upcoming police games produced by other companies.
After all, while so-called "modders" have added a highly popular police mode called LSPDFR to the PC version of Rockstar's game, the Xbox and Playstation console versions of GTA 5 continue to lack such a mode.
This is a great shame in that it limits Xbox players to wreaking virtual criminal havoc on the fictional city of San Andreas, rather than giving them the ability to serve the finer moral values of law enforcement.
But while modders have been able to add this to the PC version of "Grand Theft Auto V," as shown above, the official Xbox and Playstation console versions of GTA 5 continue to lack such a mode.
(Screenshot / You Tube) ere's a question: Why won't Rockstar Games add a police mode to the games console versions of "Grand Theft Auto 5"?
